Welcome everyone!
I am Miss Morrison and I will be your teacher in 4th grade! We will be having a great time this year and I cannot wait to meet all of you at Meet the Teacher on August 12th from 1:00- 6:00 pm in room 405!
I am extremely excited to begin my teaching career at Oakland Elementary because it is a fantastic school! I am even more excited to be teaching the fourth grade, because there are so many interesting and fun things we will be learning this year!
A little about Miss Morrison
I am originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to South Carolina to attend Furman University where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education! I absolutely love the Boiling Springs area and have already fallen in love with the welcoming community!
A few fun facts about Miss Morrison:
- I love hiking, cooking and being outdoors with friends and family!
- Dogs are my favorite animal. I had three growing up and there is always something fun to play with them.
- I played tennis since I was five and love to play when I can.
- I have been to every continent except Antartica, but I plan on visiting there someday!
- I love doing exciting things and have sky dived, bungee jumped in New Zealand, explored ancient ruins in Vietnam, rode elephants in Thailand, and have been on an African safari.
- The scariest thing that has ever happened to me is that I got stuck in sinking sand...but luckily I got out!
This year we are going to have a wonderful year as we get to know each other and explore a bunch of fun subjects ! I am extremely blessed to be able to teach at Oakland Elementary and I know that our fourth grade crew is going to find many treasures this year. Throughout the year I will be updating the blog with pictures and information to show the fun activities we have been doing.
