Reading with the kindergarten!
Chloe S- Thank you for letting us read to them. I really enjoyed it. My kindergartner is very cool! Her name is Clair!
Miya- Today I had a great time I had to read with a girl she was so cute and nice. I loved her. Then they were like little tine baby's because they were so small. I had fun reading to her and she had fun reading to me. Also I had fun because I got to read my favorite little book to her, “Meet trouble.” She started to like that book too. I hope I get to read to her again.
Shniya-She was amazing wonderful nice the funniest thing was reading. She’s petty. She was amazing and her name was Gibbie.
Elijah- I had a partner named Brooks she was funny and cute. She read to me so I read to her to. She was 5 years old. She was nice. Brooks had blond hair. She also had pretty teeth.
Tony- My Kindergartener was so good he read to me PERFECTLY! He was all sorts of fun to read with my book was: “The Salamander Room.”
Pavlo- I had a good partner. He was so quiet and listen we had fun we played hide and seek in the book. He paid attention very good.His name is Aren.
Grace- She was adorable she read a book to me she was awesome at reading I loved it!
Bradyn-The kids were great. I loved how they were so good they wanted to tell me so much. They were so nice they were like babies. They were to kids they were a boy and a girl the nicest I have ever met.
Angela- My buddy was awesome. It is fun with her she was so sweet to me and kind.
Jake- My partner Sam was so great he could read so well. If you are there Sam I'm just saying I had such a fun time.
Chandler-It was really fun getting to read with them they both liked to read I learned that one of their favorite colors was green I loved my book buddies they are so sweet and nice.
Ahnee- My buddy's name is zirell I enjoyed reading to him so much. But he didn't let me read to him that much and he did not even try to read he just made up his own stories.
Joseph-My buddy was really good he was shy but he still read he was so funny
Walker- I read Monster motel my friends name was Cooper I love Football
Elliott- He was very nice and happy also curious
Braden-my partner was very nice and she read like a boss. She didn't act up and she is a very good kid.
Joshua-I had a good time reading with Zoe.

Lizard friends
Hi everyone!
Today was an exciting day because one of our students brought in 2 lizards for us to observe! We discovered they liked grasshoppers so at recess we caught some for them to eat, however they were not hungry.
Their names are Freddy and Fredrick!

Weekly News September 8th
Study Tips
- View videos on the blog or that are sent through emails that we make in class
- Flashcards: go through flash cards and create 2 piles. The pile on the left are the cards you get incorrect, and the pile on the right are cards you get correct. Continue going through the cards on the left side until they all can be moved to the right side.
· Use these games to practice rounding
· Use these games to practice multiplication
· Use these songs to help with skip counting
· If they need help with rounding have them watch these
videos
Reading with your child
- Read aloud to your child some nights
- Read books to your child that are too challenging for them to read on their own.
- Talk about what you or they are reading
- Point out figurative language (similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia ect)
- Ask your child how the characteristics of the characters change throughout the story
- Ask your child to: predict, summarize, and explain why something happened or someone did something.
